The Iconic Shearling Shawl Scarf
A Gushlow & Cole Favourite
Some designs simply don’t need changing, they evolve naturally, refined only through details, worn and loved exactly as they are.
Our Shawl Scarf is one of those rare pieces. An iconic Gushlow & Cole style since the beginning, its shape and purpose have remained beautifully true, with only subtle enhancements over the years such as our signature gunmetal aglets. Otherwise, it is exactly as it always was: perfectly cut, wonderfully versatile, and unmistakably Gushlow & Cole.
Making a shearling Shawl Scarf
Handmade in our Kent workshop, each Shawl Scarf begins with carefully hand-selected Toscana shearling. Chosen for its softness, warmth, and luxe natural texture, it’s the kind of material that elevates everything you pair it with, from everyday knitwear to the most special of occasions, even weddings.
Designed with thoughtful Nappa leather ties, the Shawl Scarf offers multiple styling options and adapts to any outfit.
How to wear your shearling Shawl Scarf
-
Wear as a collar over knitwear or coats
-
Wrap high and tie to the side for a cosy snood
-
Cross over the body and tie at the back to create a snug gilet
-
Drape over the shoulders as an evening shawl
-
Wear over one shoulder and tie at the side as a sash
Through winter and beyond, the Shawl Scarf works for every occasion, from day to evening, casual to dressed, effortless to elegant.
It is a truly timeless piece, made to last, and one that has become part of the Gushlow & Cole brand.
