As a designer, your instinct knows when you create that winning piece, a true classic, that becomes a signature design.
Back in 2008, we wanted to create a gilet that was lighter, more versatile, yet just as flattering and easy to wear as our full shearling styles. The answer lay in combining two natural materials we love - Toscana shearling and soft organic wool.
Though we’ve refined the silhouette over the years, the foundations of this signature style remain unchanged. Each gilet is still made by hand in England from the same luxe blend and finished with a beautiful natural shaped edge.
Lightweight, reversible and effortless to layer, the Knit Back Gilet continues to prove that when a design works - when it’s truly considered and well made - it doesn’t need reinventing.
